Declan Floyd Howe, it was Super Bowl Sunday, February 2nd 2014.  You and your daddy and mommy and Ebin and Nellie made noisemakers and even though the Steelers didn't play, you watched with your wonderful family.

On our visit to Morristown in January, 2014.........Declan "discovered" the baby in the mirror.  Probably the cutest 53 seconds ever.  Papa Steve and I had a wonderful time with the grands.  Nellie, Ebin and Declan spent the weekend with us, so Justin and Ashley could take a break!  It was one of the coldest days ever, so we just played in the house, watched videos and Papa Steve spent most of his time cooking and doing dishes.  I have the best husband ever and the most precious grand kids in the world! 

New Car for Us

Finally had to get rid of our 2006 Hyundai Sonata that was our tow car behind our motorhomes for 3 years!  She was a great car, but was getting a little worn out.

We decided that we wanted a nice quiet and good riding sedan that was comfortable on the road and got good gas mileage because we would be doing most of our travels in a car now  - NOT in a RV.  After a few months of shopping I got a 2013 Hyundai Genesis with the Technology package.

We've had the Genesis for a few months and have made a couple of trips to TN to see the Grand Kids in the car.  Real comfortable to ride in.  Turned out to be a great car and had the most bang for the buck when compared to other cars under $50K like Lexus, BMW's, Toyota's, etc.  Getting 27 MPG on the interstate cruising at 75mph!  Very happy :)

It was your first birthday Little Man, Declan Floyd Howe.  Papa Steve and (I) Mia, came to Tennessee to celebrate with you and Nel-Rose,  Ebin, Mommy and Daddy.  You probably don't remember the petting zoo, but we will get you a pony ride when you are a little older.  Also, that was the time Papa Steve and I were babysitting you kids, and you fell right into the coffee table and got a bloody nose............and then your PARENTS CAME HOME!!!  You were ok, you know your Mia would never hurt any of you precious angels.  I love you all so much.  The link below are the pictures we took on this trip.

Declan,  you are going to be so very embarrassed by all these videos when you grow up.  It's the way Mia is watching you grow up, 500 LONG miles away.  I love you little spaghettio's baby boy!!

Jacskonville Visit

The best visit ever............First time Declan came to see Mia and Papa Steve with Nellie, Ebin, Mommy and Daddy.  We did Chucky Cheese!!!  Yummy.... kids were great and so cute.  Loved being with everyone.    Click here to see a bunch of pictures
